Western Growers members named to board of directors

Members of Western Growers’ 2023-24 board of directors are set to start new terms this month.

The new slate of directors — elected by the organization’s membership — will serve two-year terms beginning at the 96th Western Growers Annual Meeting, held Nov. 2-5 in Las Vegas, according to a news release.

Attended by key decisionmakers from Western Growers member companies, the annual meeting brings growers, shippers and processors together with allies and suppliers in the fresh produce industry, according to the release.
 
The 2022 event will celebrate agricultural icon John Harris by giving him the Award of Honor, the organization's highest honor, and Pinnacle Claims Management President David Zanze, who will be recognized ahead of his retirement for his nearly 38-year tenure with the company, the release said.
