Dynapro Transport acquires Transport TEB
Dynapro Transport, a Courchesne Larose Group company specializing in the transport of fruits, vegetables and dry goods, has acquired Quebec-based Transport TEB, “a key player in the delivery of fresh produce over short distances,” according to a news release. Montreal-based Courchesne Larose Group says the complementary nature of the two companies’ truck fleets will provide diversified service offerings for a clientele that includes food chains, market gardeners and processors.
Dynapro Transport has serviced distributors, wholesalers and retailers in the food sector in Quebec and eastern Ontario for the past 20 years. The company specializes in the delivery of large quantities of products with 53-foot trailers, among others, while the Transport TEB fleet is composed mainly of straight trucks that offer greater flexibility in urban centers and are capable of serving smaller customers, the release said.
“We are very excited to welcome the Transport TEB team to Dynapro Transport. Both companies have specialized for many years in the transportation of fruits and vegetables and dry goods and share common values of excellence and customer focus. This merger will make us an even more efficient company thanks to the combined expertise of our employees,” Dynapro Transport President Denis Pageau said in the release.
Founded in 2003, Dynapro Transport has experience in the field of fruit and vegetable and dry goods transportation. The company says it uses new technologies that allow it to situate its equipment in real time to optimize movements in addition to remotely managing optimal temperatures for the products. The company says it also has begun to adopt electric technology.
“New growth opportunities are opening up for our employees at Dynapro Transport,” Eric Brousseau, president of Transport TEB, said in the release. “Our promise to move goods as efficiently as possible in as little time as possible remains. We are confident that with Dynapro Transport, a partner with whom we have been working for many years, our high-quality services will be further enhanced.”
Transport TEB’s operations will be integrated into Dynapro Transport and all jobs will be maintained, the release said.
