Watsonville, Calif.-based Well-Pict is taking its trade show team to the West Coast Produce Expo, company officials say.

The May 20 event is set for May 18-20 at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa in Palm Desert, Calif.

Fresh off the April 25-27 Canadian Produce Marketing Association expo show floor, the Well-Pict team is looking forward to showcasing its delicious premium, proprietary conventional strawberries and raspberries and organic strawberries in its home state of California, according to a news release.

Despite unexpected storms in California earlier in the season, the marketer says it is in good shape with berry volume.

“As expected, all three of our growing regions are producing significant volume,” Dan Crowley, vice president of sales and marketing at Well-Pict, said in the release. “Watsonville is at a steady pace and will be increasing in production towards the middle of May. Santa Maria is peaking right now and we anticipate steady volume through June.”

At the West Coast Produce Expo, Well-Pict will be exhibiting at booth No. 400 in the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort in the Sinatra Ball Room between 12-5 p.m. For more information about Well-Pict offerings, contact Dan Crowley at dan@wellpict.com.
