PennRose Farms has hired Doug Johnson as senior vice president of sales for the grower-owned supply chain management company.

Johnson’s experience touches on multiple aspects of the business, the company said. His expertise includes not only mentoring and developing sales professionals, but also in building strong and meaningful customer relationships that extend throughout the entire customer base, according to a news release.

Along with managing sales, Johnson will also lead the development of a platform that fosters multilayered relationships with each customer, the company said.

“Doug’s experience and skills will enhance the depth and breadth of PennRose’s customer success, allowing us to deliver exceptional solutions and value,” CEO Chuck Ciruli said in the release.

Johnson joins PennRose with 23 years of experience in the produce industry, most recently as senior vice president of Bolthouse Farms, where he served for four years.

“We are excited to see the impact that Doug's expertise and vision will bring to the PennRose organization,” Ciruli said.
