The Atlanta Braves have named Avocados from Peru the team’s “Official Avocado and Superfood,” according to a news release.

Avocados from Peru says the focus of the partnership will be on “Eating Healthy and Living Green” and will include The Ultimate Baseball Sweepstakes featuring a custom-wrapped AVO Braves Chevrolet Bolt EUV, a VIP Braves experience and a $2,000 Kroger shopping spree.

The newly launched sweepstakes, which runs through Sept. 15, 2023, is open to legal residents of the 48 contiguous states. Fans can enter for a chance to win by visiting the AVO Braves website or by following @avosfromperu on Instagram

“The Braves are proud to welcome Avocados from Peru to the team,” Jim Allen, senior vice president of corporate and premium partnerships at the Atlanta Braves, said in the release. “Healthy eating is crucial to success on and off the field, and our new partnership with Avocados from Peru will encourage fans to ‘think green’ when it comes to their next meal.”

The AVO Braves Chevy Bolt EUV will be on display at Truist Park for each home game from July 1 through Sept. 10 at Section 233.  The AVO Braves 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV will also travel to Kroger locations throughout the greater Atlanta area, where fans can take photos with the EUV, sign up for the sweepstakes and more, the release said.

“It is a pleasure for Avocados from Peru to join the Atlanta Braves team,” Xavier Equihua, president and CEO of the Washington, D.C.-based Peruvian Avocado Commission, said in the release. “We are looking forward to helping the Braves create a unique summer sweepstakes giveaway while promoting the importance of eating healthy and living green through a series of multiplatform tactics.”
