Bee Sweet Citrus touts summer citrus
Summertime means citrus for the Fowler, Calif.-based Bee Sweet Citrus. The company has star ruby grapefruit, royal red oranges and several other citrus varieties available for customers.
“If there are any varieties to try this summer, it’s our royal red oranges and star ruby grapefruit,” said Bee Sweet Citrus Director of Communications Monique Mueller. “Although the two varieties have different flavor profiles, they both have blushed rinds, gorgeous internal hues and are incredibly versatile.”
Bee Sweet’s royal red oranges and star ruby grapefruit are harvested out of California’s Central Valley and will be available through the summer, according to a news release. The company says it has good volume of both varieties, and the fruit eats well.
“The best part about these varieties is that they can be incorporated into any meal of the day,” Mueller said. “From breakfast parfaits to lunch salads and desserts, our star ruby grapefruit and royal red oranges are perfect for shoppers looking to incorporate flavorful produce items into their diet.”
In addition to royal red oranges and star ruby grapefruit, Bee Sweet Citrus has domestic lemons, Chilean mandarins, navel oranges and lemons available for customers. All of Bee Sweet’s summer citrus varieties are available in new high-graphic packaging and meet its standards in quality and safety, the company said.
