Highland Ag MarketWatch has been recognized as “Analytics Innovation Of The Year” in the fourth annual AgTech Breakthrough Awards program, according to a news release.

Highland Ag says its Highland Ag MarketWatch data solution provides subscribers with aggregated and anonymized insights into market pricing, inventories, rejection rates, and trends while benchmarking company performance against the industry in one application with data directly from a marketer's enterprise resource planning.

Real-time insights are delivered every 30 minutes, allowing subscribers to stay up to date with the latest developments and make decisions based on a near real-time view of the market, according to the release. The solution also actively engages with subscribers by partnering with them to ensure optimal platform usage, the release said.

Highland Ag MarketWatch focuses only on the fresh produce industry, specifically small- to large-scale marketers, the release said. The company says it upholds data security and commits to its sovereignty via a published data covenant that outlines a commitment to transparency, security and confidentiality.

“At Highland, we believe data is the key to unlocking success in agriculture,” Highland Ag CEO Justin Machell said in the release. “We are thankful AgTech Breakthrough has singled it out for the ‘Analytics Innovation of the Year’ award.”
