NatureSweet breaks into foodservice with 3 snacking tomato additions
San Antonio-based greenhouse grower NatureSweet is breaking into foodservice by adding several snacking tomato products to its offerings.
NatureSweet Cherubs, Glorys and Constellation are hand-picked, bite-sized snacking tomatoes with tangy flavor, ideal for salads, pasta dishes and charcuterie boards, according to a news release.
“Our consumers requested it, so we’re making it a reality,” Summer Jones, NatureSweet’s foodservice sales manager, said in the release. “We are the largest vertically integrated agricultural company in North America. That means we’re involved in every stage of the process, from planting the seed, harvesting the fruit, packaging, and distribution. It’s how we guarantee great-tasting tomatoes.”

Along with cultivating produce that has superior flavor, NatureSweet is also committed to having a positive social, environmental, and economic impact within the communities where it operates and the lives of agricultural workers, according to the release. Efforts around sustainability have led the company to earn fair trade certification, EFI certification and B Corp certification, according to the release.
