Seald Sweet hires commodity manager

Seald Sweet International has hired Scott Kosnik as a commodity manager for its Nogales, Ariz., office. 
 
Kosnik joined the company May 22 as a commodity manager with a focus on growth in Nogales and Mexico. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the produce industry to Seald Sweet, according to a news release. In the past, he has worked in sales for a number of Nogales companies, including Tricar Sales, Al Harrison Distributing Co., Harrison Fresh and Nogales Fruit & Tomato Distributors Inc.
 
“I’m extremely excited to become a member of the Seald Sweet family,” Kosnik said in the release.
 
“Scott’s fresh produce knowledge and experience will be valuable not only to our customers, but is also an opportunity for Seald Sweet to continue growing our business in our Nogales operation, which is considered one of our growing regions,” Mayda Sotomayor-Kirk, chief executive officer of Seald Sweet, said in the release.
