Alliance for Food and Farming launches web page

The Alliance for Food and Farming recently launched its “Facts, Not Fears” web page.

The web page — http://safefruitsandveggies.com/facts-not-fears — provides information on what facts reassure consumers about the safety of produce, according to a news release.

Features include peer-reviewed studies that show how messaging about the safety of fruits and veggies effects consumers, as well as the results of an alliance research project identifying

what science-based facts increase consumer confidence and help remove fear as a barrier to consumption, according to the release.

The group’s website also provides fruit and vegetable consumption data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, media articles and videos.
