IFCO celebrates 25 years with donation

IFCO is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a series of announcements, events and a donation to food banks across Europe and North America.
 
Wolfgang Orgeldinger, IFCO’s CEO announced a donation of more than $25,000 to food banks around the world, according to a news release.
 
“We are proud to work with our retailer and grower partners to improve the sustainability of the fresh food supply chain, and to nourish and improve the lives of people around the world,” Orgeldinger said in the release.
 
The company operates in 50 countries with more than 270 million reusable packaging containers shipping
fresh goods to grocery stores around the world every year, according to the release.
 
“If the fresh food value chain come together to operate in the most sustainable way possible, future generations will thank us for passing onto them a better world,” Orgeldinger said in the release.
