Farmer’s Best grape harvest begins
Farmer’s Best, Nogales, Ariz., begins its harvest in May with seedless sugraone, flame and perlette grapes.
The grapes, grown in Mexico, ship to the U.S. and Canada through the Farmer’s Best warehouses in Nogales from May through June.
“We are pleased with our upcoming table grape season,” Leonardo Tarriba, Farmer’s Best general manager, said in a news release. “Ideal growing conditions and our Farmer’s Best commitment to food safety, quality, reliability and sustainability will provide our U.S. and Canadian-based customers with a good and plentiful supply’s this year.”
Perlette and flame grapes will begin harvest around May 8 in Sonora, Mexico, while sugraone harvest will begin around May 25.
