PMA, ASOEX form partnership for members
Ronald Bown, Chairman of the Board of the Chilean Fruit Exporters Association and Nancy Tucker, PMA Vice President of Global Business Development sign a memorandum of understanding between the two groups which formalizes closer collaboration.
NEW ORLEANS -- The Produce Marketing Association and the Chilean Fruit Exporters Association (ASOEX) agreed to closer collaboration with a memorandum of understanding signing Oct. 20 at PMA Fresh Summit.
The agreement represents a more formal way to work closer together to provide value to members though events and volunteer opportunities for Chilean businesses with PMA.
“It is imperative that we continue strengthening and adding value to the Chilean fresh fruit industry,” said Bown in a prepared statement. “Working with an industry leader like PMA gives our members additional access to the information and resources they need to stay competitive. At the same time, our experience will add to the work being undertaken by PMA in Chile.”
