Center for Produce Safety adds videos to website

The Center for Produce Safety has added a video section to its website.

Videos will cover practices in the field and post-harvest, using expertise from the center’s board and Technical Committee members, according to a news release. Others in the scientific and academic communities will also be featured, focusing on the newest research and food safety topics, according to the release.

  • The video feature, dubbed the “CPS Minute,” gives viewers:
  • A way to keep current on produce research;
  • Information on CPS research priorities;
  • Interviews with CPS board and Technical Committee members and others in the industry; and
  • Details on CPS events

The minute-long videos currently feature Ellis Owens, director of technical services for Birko Corp., Tom Nassif, president and CEO of Western Growers, and Doug Grant, executive vice president and chief operations officer of the Oppenheimer Group.
