Time is running out for mango industry members to nominate someone for six open seats on the National Mango Board.

Nominations will be accepted until Feb. 21, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The positions have a three-year term.

The board is seeking nominees for two importer seats in District 1, the eastern states; a domestic grower, a first handler and two foreign grower seats. There are 18 members of the board. The new members start in January.

Members vote on the new members, but the USDA makes the final selection. Nomination forms are on the National Mango Board website.
