As part of National Volunteer Week, April 15-21, Total Quality Logistics has more than 60 volunteer activities planned for hundreds of volunteers across the country.

TQL teams that volunteer will earn a $250 grant for the nonprofit their efforts support, according to a news release.

This year, the company is also giving people outside TQL the chance to win a grant as well.

Those who participate in a volunteer activity and submit it to www.tql.com/national-volunteer-week from April 14-29 have a chance to win $50 from TQL for their favorite nonprofit, according to the release.

TQL will randomly select 40 winners each week to receive a $50 charity gift card, and the winners can donate them to the 501(c)3 charity of their choice through TQL’s giving platform, according to the release.

“This is an opportunity to support both our employee’s personal philanthropic choices and those of everyone in the communities we serve,” said Kerry Byrne, president of TQL.

Last year more than 600 TQL employees, family members and friends took part in 53 volunteer week activities and earned more than $11,500 in volunteer grants for nonprofits, according to the release.
