Brooklyn company pays PACA debt
Jacobs Village Farm satisfied a reparation order issued under PACA, according to a USDA news release.
The Brooklyn, N.Y., company was sanctioned by the USDA for failing to pay a $32,357 award in favor of a Pennsylvania seller.
Jacobs Village Farms can continue operating in the produce industry upon applying for and being issued a PACA license. Jacob Yusifov was listed as the officer, director and major stockholder of the business and may now be employed by or affiliated with any PACA licensee.
