Naturipe Farms features organic blueberries for FeBLUEary campaign

Record volume of both organic and conventional blueberries is the highlight of the FeBLUEary campaign Naturipe Farms, Salinas, Calif.

The program began three years ago to celebrate the first peak volume of organic blueberries for the year, according to a Naturipe news release.

The company cites record volume of organic blueberries this month, which was expected to be a 15-20% increase.

“February is our first organic blueberry peak,” CarrieAnn Arias, vice president of marketing, said in the release. “Last month, we announced this year is expected to be our biggest blueberry year on record. Now that February is here, we’ll start seeing the fruits of our labor as the anticipated production comes to life in stores across the country.”

Naturipe’s organic blueberries will be available all year.

During FeBLUEary, consumers will see signs and specialty displays throughout grocery stores, as well as blueberry-inspired recipes on Naturipe’s social media channels. Consumers are encouraged to follow @Naturipe on Instagram and Facebook for more berry news, along with berry and avocado facts and recipes all year long.
