Cucumbers take top spot on PMG

The PMG top 20 was all shook up the week of June 1 as cucumbers knocked Haitian mangoes out of the No. 1 spot and oranges moved up a few places from the previous week to No. 2. Peaches gained two places to arrive at No. 3, mangoes moved from No. 7 to No. 4, and cherries slipped a couple of spots to complete the top 5.

The PMG platform connects produce buyers and sellers. Below, find the top 20 searched commodities on PMG during the week of June 1.

Lettuce moved from No. 8 the previous week to No. 6, while Haitian mangoes fell to No. 7. Russet potatoes rejoined the list at No. 8, and yellow-flesh watermelon moved up a slot to No. 9. The watermelon category rounded out the top 10.

Radishes fell to No. 11 from No. 9 the previous week, while okra moved up a spot to No. 12. The summer squash category took No. 13, and strawberries fell to No. 14 from No. 11 the previous week. The potato category came in at No. 15.

Organic pears slipped a couple of spots to No. 16, while chili peppers moved up a couple, to No. 17. Lemons bumped down a spot to No. 18, figs rejoined the list at No. 19, and tomatoes held on to the No. 20 spot.
