Wish Farms adds e-mail for berry lovers
Plant City, Fla.-based Wish Farms has been busy giving back the past few months with its “Berry Lover” e-mail campaign.
For every sign-up on Wish Farms’ website, Wish Farms donates one meal to Feeding America.
“It’s our way of giving back to the community and fulfilling our commitment to combating food insecurity,” said Amber Maloney, director of marketing for Wish Farms.
“When you eat Wish Farms berries you feel good about fueling your body with healthy nutrients, but we want consumers to feel good about supporting a company who is committed to giving back.”
While at Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit in Anaheim, Calif., Wish Farms introduced its new label designs and demonstrated its new smartphone app.
“The Wish Farms app will feature augmented reality where our labels come to life,” Maloney said.
Wish Farms will be transitioning to its new labels and roll out the app in January, she said.
The firm’s 125,000- square-foot warehouse and cooler are also on track to be completed in January.
Ground has also been broken for new Wish Farms offices, which are set to be complete by the end of September 2020, Maloney said.
