Food protection association’s annual meeting goes digital
The International Association for Food Protection’s annual meeting will be a virtual event this year.
The meeting, Oct. 26-28, features presentations from experts, educational workshops and networking opportunities. More information and registration is available on the association’s website, foodproduction.org.
Speakers at the event include:
- Caroline Smith Dewaal, deputy director of EatSafe at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition;
- Frank Yiannas, deputy commissioner for food policy and response at the Food and Drug Administration;
- Mindy Brashears, deputy undersecretary for food safety at the U.S. Department of Agriculture; and
- Peter Embarek, program manager at the World Health Organization’s Department of Nutrition and Food Safety.
The meeting also includes virtual exhibits.
