The Produce Marketing Association and United Fresh Produce Association are presenting a web seminar on the findings of the Romaine Task Force.

The seminar will focus on recommendations and next steps for the industry. The Romaine Task Force, convened in the wake of a 2018 E. coli O157:H7 outbreak, released its final report in late September.

More than 100 stakeholders helped develop recommendations in four areas:

  • Science/prevention;
  • Traceability;
  • Provenance labeling; and
  • Investigation/collaboration process.

The web seminal will review major recommendations and what’s next in implementing them, according to a news release.

The web seminar is at noon Pacific, Nov. 4. Registration is online.
