Lakeside Organic sponsors Santa Cruz County Farm Bureau
Lakeside Organic Gardens is the Centennial Sponsor for the Santa Cruz County Farm Bureau, donating $50,000 to the non-profit organization to mark its 100th anniversary.
"We are honored to have the support of Lakeside Organic Gardens during this special year," said Thomas Broz, bureau president, in a news release. "Lakeside is an innovative leader in local agriculture and a generous contributor to our community."
Lakeside will be highlighted at the farm bureau's activities this year and in their publications.
"I've been involved with Farm Bureau for decades and feel honored to partner with them to celebrate their 100th anniversary," said Dick Peixoto, owner of Lakeside. "The Farm Bureau is an awesome organization and continues to be the leader in Santa Cruz County agriculture."
