Integrated Fresh Solutions, Swedesboro, N.J., has promoted Bob Harper to chief operating officer of Integrated Fresh Solutions (IFS) companies.

IFS is the parent company of Fresh-Link Produce LLC and third-party transportation provider Kool Logistics LLC. Harper oversees operations of the company’s multiple fresh produce and transportation offices, according to a news release.

Harper has extensive experience with Fresh-Link’s produce programs and Kool Logistics’ carriers, focusing on the supply side of the company’s businesses as well.

He joined IFS in 2017 as general manager for Fresh-Link’s Monterey, Calif., tomato division. Last fall, his role expanded to include managing Fresh-Link West in Nogales, Ariz.

“Bob’s contribution and commitment to our people, organization and customers has been invaluable,” Garry Rowe, IFS president, said in the release. “His can-do attitude is infectious, and we are looking forward to his leadership at IFS in this executive position.”

Before joining Integrated Fresh Solutions, Harper was a produce account executive for Capital City Fruit, Norwalk, Iowa, for 21 years.
