OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — San Antonio-based NatureSweet was touting its Constellation three-color pack of mini sweet peppers at the Associated Wholesale Grocers' seventh annual Innovation Showcase.

Speaking March 25 at the event, Steven Bindas, division sales manager, said the marketer is excited about innovation in its seedless mini sweet pepper category. The three-color mini sweet pepper pack is marketed under the Constellation label, the same label as the company’s medley tomato pack.

Following on strong demand for mini cucumbers and baby cucumbers, Bindas said the company will introduce a micro-cucumber pack later this year.
