Sun World International LLC, Palm Desert, Calif., has added a Chilean and two Peruvian grape companies to its licensees list.

Pronto Exports, in Chile’s Aconcagua Valley; Sun Fruits, Ica, Peru; and Agricola Interandina, in the Andes Mountains, have been added to Sun World’s list, according to a news release.

There are more than 70 companies licensed to market Sun World varieties around the world.

“We’re confident that providing further access to our seedless grape varieties will allow producers to maximize their revenues while increasing the seedless grape volume in Chile and Peru, and the visibility of our varietal brands,” Garth Swinburn, vice president of licensing for Sun World, said in the release.

Pronto Exports packs and exports table grapes and other items, with about 1,500 acres of grapes for export, according to the release.

Sun Fruits, a grower-processor-exporter, has almost 2,500 acres of grapes, avocados, citrus and blueberries.

Agricola Interandina, east of Lima, Peru, exports mandarins, blueberries, grapes and avocados, according to the release.
