The West Coast Produce Expo and the Sustainable Produce Summit, presented by The Packer and Farm Journal, are being postponed until August due to concerns about the coronavirus COVID-19.

The co-located events are now Aug. 20-22 at the same venue, the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa in Palm Desert, Calif.

The inaugural Sustainable Produce Summit will be Aug. 20, followed by the two-day West Coast Produce Expo.

The events were originally scheduled for May 28-30.

“We care about the health of our sponsors, exhibitors and attendees and believe this is the best way to move forward,” said Matt Morgan, executive vice president of produce for Farm Journal. “We join our industry partners in taking a proactive approach that will secure a successful set of events with peace of mind for all involved.”

All attendee registrations for the show will be honored for the rescheduled August dates and hotel room rates will remain the same. All sponsor and exhibitor investments in the show will be honored and applied to the new dates. Exhibitors can contact The Packer if they are unable to attend.

More information about the event and a revised schedule will be available soon. Visit WestCoastProduceExpo.com to view Frequently Asked Questions for sponsors, exhibitors and attendees, as well as for updates.
