Summer Citrus From South Africa offers Sweet Summer Sweepstakes

Citrusdal, South Africa-based Summer Citrus From South Africa has a new promotion aimed at encouraging young families to eat healthy during the summer.

The Sweet Summer Sweepstakes, which runs June 1 to July 31, gives three entrants the chance to win $1,000 to help make summer memories with family and friends, according to a news release.

The group will provide young families with tips and information on healthy eating throughout the contest, according to the release.

“Each year that we host a consumer promotion during our peak-of-season, we learn more and more about our target shopper and their preferences around summer citrus, which, in turn, helps us meet their needs more specifically,” Suhanra Conradie, CEO of Summer Citrus from South Africa, said in the release.

“This year, our goal is to attract and connect with millennial families with young children so that we may serve as a snacking solution for their fun summer activities and help them make memories that will last a lifetime.”

The group will use targeted online ads to reach shoppers within their target audience and drive traffic to local retailers participating in the campaign, according to the release.

Millennial bloggers Chrissa Benson of Physical Kitchness and Dianna Muscar of The Kitchen Prep will also support the promotion, according to the release.
