Vision Import Group offers Argentine lemons
Vision Import Group LLC, Hackensack, N.J., is offering Citromax Green Label brand lemons from Argentina, with arrivals the week of May 21.
Citromax Group has more than 13,000 acres of lemons in Tucuman, Argentina, and recently invested $250,000 in its packinghouse and groves in anticipation of exports to the U.S., recently approved by the U.S. Department of Agriculture after 17 years.
Arrivals will be on the East Coast, according to a Vision Import Group news release. The addition of the Argentine lemon deal allows the company to have year-round supplies, with fruit from Mexico and Spain covering the rest of the year, according to the release.
