Cal Poly plans reception at Fresh Summit

The Cal Poly College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences will host an Alumni and Industry Friends Reception during the Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit in New Orleans.
 
The reception — sponsored by Mission Produce, Veg-Fresh Farms, Tanimura & Antle and Famous Software — will be from 5-7 p.m., Oct. 20, at the New Orleans Downtown Marriott Julia banquet room, across the street from the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, according to a news release.
 
Cal Poly Dean Andrew Thulin and Assistant Dean Russ Kabaker will join fellow Cal Poly alumni and leaders in the industry.
 
Thulin will discuss the college’s plans for a new Plant Science Complex, the release said.
 
Cal Poly wine, beer and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
