Honeydew melons take No. 1 spot on PMG

Honeydew melons knocked cucumbers off the top spot on PMG the week of June 8, with the vegetable falling to No. 4. Oranges and peaches maintained their No. 2 and No. 3 rankings from the previous week, while watermelon moved up from No. 10 the previous week to complete the top 5.

The PMG platform connects produce buyers and sellers. Below, find the top 20 searched commodities on PMG during the week of June 8.

Mangoes fell to No. 6 from No. 4 the previous week, while lettuce was bumped a place to No. 7. Cherries fell to No. 8, while okra moved up three places to No. 9, and organic pears shot up six spots to round out the top 10.

Haitian mangoes fell to No. 11 from No. 7 the previous week, while summer squash moved up one place to No. 12. Strawberries also moved up a place, to No. 13, and figs gained five places to land at No. 14. Potatoes held onto the No. 15 spot.

Apricots rejoined the list at No. 16, and peas and avocados joined at No. 17 and No. 18, respectively. Radishes fell eight places to No. 19, and tomatoes once again rounded out the top 20.
