A rose by any other name ...

We’re on the brink of a new year. The autumn and winter holiday rush is over, but just around the corner is one of the busiest occasions for floral — Valentine’s Day.

In this issue of Floral Retailer we look at some of the most popular flowers for the holiday — 83% of Valentine’s Day flower buys are roses, according to the Society of American Florists. And don’t forget those non-floral gifts to round out your displays (think mermaid balloons and narwhal plushies).

We also examine what’s trending for 2019 (flowers with texture, fun foliage, unicorns and other cute characters) and how Florida-based Decowraps spreads happiness through packaging.
