New promotions and anniversary at NoKota
Buxton, N.D.-based NoKota Packers Inc. plans to join the promotions of the Fresh Solutions Network.
“Fresh Solutions Network is a group of family-owned growers and shippers who choose to work together to make the potato and onion industry better for everyone,” said Carissa Olsen, chief operating officer of NoKota.
These promotions are centered around bringing awareness to locally grown produce, she said.
NoKota is also celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
“We will be honoring Steve Tweten and Tim Lee, two of our owners and longest employees, as they retire at the end of the year and season respectively,” Olsen said.
“We wish them well and appreciate all of the years they have dedicated to NoKota.”
