Cherries make the top 10 on PMG

Oranges remained No. 1 on The Packer's PMG the week of April 27, but several new items joined the top 20. Yellow-flesh watermelon bumped the overall watermelon category out of the No. 2 position, and Haitian mangoes moved up a couple of spots to No. 3. Cucumbers held on at No. 4, while lettuce fell two places to No. 5.  

The PMG platform connects produce buyers and sellers. Below, find the top 20 searched commodities on PMG during the week of April 27. 

Cherries rejoined the list at No. 6, and okra moved up a spot to No. 7. Mangoes also moved up a notch to No. 9, while dragon fruit reappeared at No. 9, and herbs rounded out the top 10.

Strawberries rose to No. 11 from No. 13 the previous week, while tomatoes held steady at No. 12. Organic pears took the No. 13 spot, and watermelon fell to No. 14 from No. 2 the previous week. Chili peppers completed the top 15, falling from No. 8 the week before. 

Radishes fell a few spots to No. 16, and the navel orange variety took the No. 17 spot. Avocados fell to No. 18 from No. 6 the previous week, bananas remained at No. 19, and turnips completed the top 20.
