Oranges rule Produce Market Guide, but bananas pick up interest

Oranges and organic pears maintained the top two spots on Produce Market Guide last week, while lettuce inched up a place to No. 3, pushing cucumbers to No. 4, and avocados climbed one slot to round out the top 5.

The Produce Market Guide platform connects produce buyers and sellers. Below, find the top 20 searched commodities on Produce Market Guide during the week of March 9.

Bananas once more garnered a lot of interest, with the manzano variety at No. 7, the overall category at No. 9, and burro bananas at No. 11.

Artichokes reappeared on the list at No. 14, and broccoli took the No. 15 spot. Iceberg lettuce also saw some interest, coming in at No. 16, while cabbage slipped to No. 19 (from No. 10 the previous week), and strawberries fell to No. 20 (from No. 5).
