Bailey Farms adds DulceFina peppers
Oxford, N.C.-based Bailey Farms has launched a new pepper line and has expanded its facility, said Randy Bailey, manager.
“We have launched our DulceFina pepper line to the marketplace,” he said, describing the product as “a super-sweet pepper that a unique flavor and crunch that really upgrades the mini sweet experience.”
The company also is coming out with redesigned packaging for all of its product lines, Bailey said.
Bailey Farms also is expanding its Oxford facility, Bailey said.
It’s a $3 million project investment that will double the plant’s packing, storage and receiving space, Bailey said.
“This will allow us the space to implement more automation to the packing processes,” he said.
The project should be completed by August, Bailey said.
The company also is working on building a new seasonal packing facility in Estero, Fla., Bailey said.
“The Florida packinghouse is still in the planning stage, and we hope to get started on it by fall,” he said.
