The organization said Scott Marboe whose leadership and mentorship helped shape the Northwest tree fruit industry, will be remembered for uplifting and inspiring those around him.
The Nogales, Ariz.-based company manages a network across Mexico that includes over 900 acres of open-field production, 1,400 acres of indoor production and packing facilities.
The company rose six spots on the list, which ranks enterprises based on employee assessments of company culture, leadership and relationships with workers.
The apples were shared at a local school distribution site, Santa Rita Elementary School as part of FirstFruits Farms’ Take a Bite Out of Hunger program.
