A number of issues affect Florida produce growers right now. Those include weather, the ongoing global supply chain disruptions, increased pressure from the supply of foreign products and the domestic labor shortage.

Onion House, LLC is a grower-shipper, shipping mostly Mexican and Texas onions. The company has about 500 acres of onions in the Rio Grande Valley. The Texas onion season will begin a few weeks later than usual.
