Wenatchee, Wash.-based Stemilt Growers has been talking with virtual booth visitors at United Fresh Live! about its cherries, its Rave apples and its stone fruit.

Rave is a proprietary variety for the company, high-altitude cherries are a special feature for Stemilt in July and August, and its all-organic stone fruit program now has a new element in the Top Pick offering, which uses only the highest quality fruit for a premium option, said Brianna Shales, senior marketing manager for Stemilt.

Shales noted that one of the positive elements of the virtual show is that more people are able to attend. At Stemilt, the whole marketing team and some sales team members as well are spending time on the virtual event platform. Shales mentioned she’d attended the Women in Produce general session and is participating in the Cornell University Certificate Program.

Overall the event has been a lot of fun so far, Shales said June 16.
