Instead of the in-person New Jersey Agricultural Convention and Trade Show, there will be virtual education sessions.

The trade show and education sessions, organized by the Vegetable Growers Association of New Jersey and other organizations, was originally scheduled Feb. 22-25 at Harrah’s Convention Center in Atlantic City, N.J., according to a news release.

“Since an in-person convention will not be feasible this year due to the coronavirus pandemic restrictions, the convention committee has voted to move to a virtual format for the first time,” according to the release. “You will be able to attend the sessions from the comfort of your farm.”

Session topics are coordinated with Rutgers Cooperative Extension.

Registration will open on the new website vganj.com, available Jan. 1.

More detailed plans will be announced in the coming weeks on njveggies.org/convention, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
