Ottawa-based Curation Foods is recalling Eat Smart brand Asian Sesame (Sésame asiatique) Chopped Salad Kit from the marketplace due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination, according to a recall notice posted on the Canadian Food Inspection Agency website.

Consumers should not consume the recalled product described below.

Background

This recall was triggered by Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) test results, according to the recall notice. The CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products, according to the recall notice.
