Demos Global Group named accredited certification body for FSMA

The International Accreditation Service has accredited Demos Global Group Inc. as an additional certification body under the FDA’s Accredited Third-Party Certification Program, the FDA reports.

The International Accreditation Service has accredited Demos Global Group Inc. as an additional certification body under the FDA’s Accredited Third-Party Certification Program, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration reports.

Demos Global Group, according to a news release, has been accredited for the Preventive Controls for Human Food. The accreditation gives Demos Global Group the authority to conduct food safety audits and issue food and facility certifications under FDA’s Accredited Third-Party Certification Program, the FDA said in the release. Importers can use certifications issued through the program to establish eligibility for participation in the Voluntary Qualified Importer Program.
