PSSI has announced the promotion of Tom ‘Tiny’ Eckmann to its leadership team as vice president of operations.

Eckmann, according to a news release, will oversee the company’s customer relationships with food processors across the Southeast region, including Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana.

“Tiny is a results-driven leader who is widely respected by many across our industry,” Dan Taft, president, and CEO of PSSI, said in the release. “He has been instrumental in expanding our team and partnerships and we are proud to have him as part of our leadership team.”

The release said Eckmann has more than 22 years of experience in the sanitation field and most recently has been a division manager for the North region.

“We are a large organization, but our focus on having a localized footprint in all the communities we serve is important to me and something I believe sets us apart in the industry,” Eckmann said in the release. “I look forward to a new opportunity to lead our company’s vision and relationships throughout the Southeast.”
