The United Fresh Produce Association’s sixth annual BrandStorm event will open with a keynote from author and brand strategist Lindsay Pedersen.
The virtual event is set for March 9-11, and registration is available at www.unitedfresh.org.

Pedersen is author of “Forging an Ironclad Brand: A Leader’s Guide,” according to a news release.

“As marketers, we know the strength and equity of our brand translates into success for every aspect of our business,” Mary Coppola, vice president of marketing and communications for United Fresh, said in the release. “I’m looking forward to learning Lindsay’s methods of building an ironclad brand strategy, a proven discipline for successful brand growth.”

Pedersen has advised a range of companies on branding strategy, including Zulily, Starbucks, T-Mobile, Coinstar and IMDb.

During her general session keynote, Pedersen will give fresh produce marketers steps toward an ironclad brand strategy to guide decision making, according to the release.

BrandStorm is a project of United Fresh’s Produce Marketing and Merchandising Council.

“This event is an annual must-attend for all members of your marketing team, and this year is no exception,” Kim St. George, vice president of business development for the Renaissance Food Group and vice chair of United Fresh’s Produce Marketing & Merchandising Council, said in the release. “Hosted on the heels of a global pandemic, BrandStorm is a timely opportunity to re-focus on marketing strategy.”

United Fresh members can attend BrandStorm for $495 with discounts offered to marketing teams (from the same company) at the reduced rate of $395 each for three or more colleagues. Non-members can attend for $695, according to United Fresh.

For more information about BrandStorm, registration or to sponsor at the event, contact Coppola at 202-303-3425.
