Indoor farming company BrightFarms says its booth at the International Fresh Produce Association’s Global Produce and Floral Show this month in Atlanta will tout the opening of three of its greenhouse hubs this year.

Visitors to its booth No. B551 will also get a chance to sample its Crunch Kits and learn more about its greenhouse openings, according to a news release. BrightFarms said it will offer samples of its Mediterranean and Southwest Chipotle Crunch Kit, which feature the company’s Sunny Crunch lettuce.

BrightFarms opened three regional greenhouse hubs this year in Lorena, Texas; Macon, Ga.; and Yorkville, Ill., which opened in September. BrightFarms also partnered with Cox Farms this year. The company said the new facilities triple the company’s capacity and will be able to reach two-thirds of U.S. households by 2025.

“Our new greenhouse hubs are designed to meet the surging demand for fresh, locally grown greens,” BrightFarms CEO Steve Platt, CEO said in the release. “We’re excited to showcase the future of indoor farming at IFPA 2024 and give attendees a look at what a coast-to-coast indoor supply chain can achieve.”
