Lenexa, Kansas — Farm Journal announces a partnership between The Packer and Farm Star Living — www.FarmStarLiving.com — to provide new and inspiring content to its audiences.

The partnership will feature a new branded landing page on ThePacker.com titled “The Packer Presents: Consumer Corner by Farm Star Living.” Content provided by Farm Star Living will include videos, food and health articles, blog posts, lifestyle perspective videos, recipes and other content targeting produce industry professionals and consumers. Farm Star Living Founder Mary Blackmon, also known to her audiences as Farm Star Mary, created the Farm Star Living website six years ago, which will continue to operate and remain as an independent business.

“As a fourth-generation farm owner myself, it has been paramount that our content respects the values of farmers and fresh-food companies while making the world of farming and food inspiring, relatable and even exciting to audiences,” Blackmon said. “We are thrilled about our content partnership that allows us to share our trending produce videos and fresh content with the industry that means so much to us.”

Consumer Corner will share compelling produce content created by Farm Star Living, which also is being actively distributed to consumers through its website and social channels.

“Mary has a great connection to our audience, and a deeply-rooted generational connection to farming,” said Matt Morgan, Executive Vice President of Produce for Farm Journal, The Packer and Produce Market Guide. “We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work with her. She has made her life’s work making the connection between growing great food and the business of selling great fresh food. We are excited to have her on board, and we think our audience will be too.”

“Mary’s energy and professionalism are unmatched in her multimedia communications about fresh produce and fresh fruit and vegetable marketers,” said Tom Karst, Editor of The Packer. “We look forward to hosting Farm Star Living content on our site.”
