Fresno, Calif.-based Western Fresh Marketing Inc. recently moved to a new office in Fresno, Calif., after 23 years in nearby Madera. The new location places the company more strategically.

In addition to the new office, Chris Kragie is now president and majority owner of the company. His dad, George, and son, Peyton, retain the remainder of ownership. Family members also help manage the company.

“It’s great to get everyone under one roof after the last two years,” Kragie said. “It will make us more efficient. We’re closer to our biggest kiwi grower, biggest fig grower and our cold storage.”

George will remain in Michigan, where the company also has farms. It ships year-round from both locations.
