The 2021 North American Raspberry and Blackberry Conference was held virtually Feb. 23-25, but the next one is planned to be a hybrid of in-person and virtual activities.

The conference offers more than 25 hours of educational sessions, plus virtual exhibitors, scientific posters and a lot of networking. Close to 400 people participated in the 2021 event.

The next conference will be in late February 2022 in Gaithersburg, Md., not far from Washington, D.C. It is expected that this conference will include both a virtual and in-person option.

The North American Raspberry and Blackberry Association is an organization of growers, both large and small, and of researchers, marketers and others in the caneberry industry.

The group’s mission is to promote blackberries and raspberries to the public, and support production and marketing of raspberries and blackberries through communication, education and research.
