There is a lot to love about fruit, including the plethora of songs about it. Listen here for The Packer’s picks of top fruity tunes. (Listen to Part 1 - Vegetable Medley)

1. Strawberry Fields Forever — The Beatles

Similar to the fragrance of roses and fresh-cut grass, this song brings a sense of nostalgia, although I cannot quite place the memory ... Anyone else? The Beatles are always classic and (if I closed my eyes) this song makes me feel like I am prancing through the strawberry fields.

2. Aubergine - MeWithoutYou

Maybe people may not know this, but aubergine (aka eggplant) is actually a fruit!

3. Raspberry Beret — Prince & The Revolution

If you know, then you know: This song is classic pop! Catchy and colorful... just like I imagine a beret.

4. Coconut — Harry Nilsson

This song gives me all the vibes. There’s not much better than coconut water and lime on a hot day. Who know a word as simple as “coconut” could sound so sweet and soulful.

5. Banana Pancakes — Jack Johnson

There is not much better than the rainy Sunday feels... well, maybe banana pancakes!

Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree — Glenn Miller
Lemon Tree — Fools Garden
