Maryland firm wins $284M federal contract to supply fresh produce

P.J.K. Food Service LLC, doing business as Keany Produce & Gourmet, Landover, Md., has been awarded a maximum $284.3 million federal contract to supply fresh fruits and vegetables.

P.J.K. Food Service LLC, doing business as Keany Produce & Gourmet, Landover, Md., has been awarded a maximum $284.3 million federal contract to supply fresh fruits and vegetables.

The five-year contract has no option periods, with an ordering period end date of Feb. 17, 2028.

Customers for the contract include the Army, Marine Corps and Department of Agriculture schools, according to a news release.

The contracting agency is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support in Philadelphia, according to the release.
